Solution for the unobtainable Petri hubs for BMW
If you are into classic BMWs like the beautiful BMW E9, the CS, CSi and CSL or the smaller BMW E10, the 2002, you came across the wonderful and classic BMW sports steering wheel made by Petri. It was available for these models in different sizes but not all of the mentioned above came with such a wheel from the factory. And with the ever-increasing popularity of these cars, the desire to install such a steering wheel is also growing. In a 3.0 CSi for example or a 2002 tii.

So far, no problem – if you find a hub adapter for either of these models. Since the wheels have been sold as a set only, it is really hard to find a single hub adapter either for the E9 or the E10. That’s one point. But what if you want to put such a Petri steering wheel into a totally different car, a vintage Toyota or whatever. Or, not to go that far – in a BMW E30? So far there was no possibility to do that in a reasonable way. But now it is.
Since the Victor to Momo hub adapter was such a big hit, I got a number of requests whether I could develop and manufacture such an adapter for the Petri sports steering wheel in order to install a Petri sports steering wheel together with such an adapter onto a regular Momo hub. It took quite some time to actually design that piece, manufacture prototypes, test them and adjust them. Here they are.

Installation guide
Install your Momo hub as usual if you haven’t already done so. Simply bolt the Petri to Momo hub adapter on top with the black screws that come with the set. Then add the Petri sports steering wheel together with the trim ring, screw them tight with the silver screws together with the toothed washers. You need a number 3 allen key for that job. Then add the Momo sized horn button – connect the cable – done! Easy as 1-2-3.
The adapter as well as the trim cover ring are made from high quality rolled aluminum (7075), CNC machined and anodized in black. The set comes with all screws necessary to install the adapter and the steering wheel.
